MVR-FC Forced Circulation Evaporator

The MVR-FC evaporator is a high-efficiency evaporation system widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. It works by circulating liquid through the heating tubes as a thin film while secondary vapor is compressed and recycled as a heating source, allowing rapid concentration and energy-saving operation. This method ensures stable product quality, precise temperature control, and is ideal for heat-sensitive or high-viscosity materials.

MVR-FC Evaporator

The mvr-fc evaporator is an advanced, high-efficiency evaporation system designed for industrial applications requiring rapid concentration, solvent recovery, and stable performance. Combining forced circulation technology with mechanical vapor recompression, this system ensures energy efficiency, continuous operation, and consistent product quality. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and dairy industries for both heat-sensitive and high-viscosity materials.

Working Principle

The MVR-FC (Forced Circulation) crystallization system includes a steam compressor, heat exchanger, crystallizer, and forced circulation pump. The system uses external power from the circulation pump to deliver the downward-flowing solution and feed into the heating chamber, greatly increasing the circulation speed. After the circulating liquid is heated in the heat exchanger, part of it evaporates when the pressure drops in the separator, cooling the liquid to the corresponding boiling point at that pressure. The secondary vapor separated in the separator is then compressed by the compressor and returned to the heat exchanger for heat transfer, maintaining the material’s evaporation temperature. Once the system stabilizes, no additional fresh steam is required.

Key Features

•  Energy Efficient: The mechanical vapor recompression evaporators design reuses vapor to minimize steam consumption and operating costs.

•  Forced Circulation: The mvr-fc forced circulation evaporator maintains uniform heating, prevents local overheating, and is ideal for heat-sensitive or high-viscosity liquids.

•  Continuous Operation: Designed for uninterrupted processing, enhancing productivity and process stability.

•  Durable Construction: Built with high-quality stainless steel and corrosion-resistant materials for long-term industrial use.

•  Flexible Integration: Easily incorporated into existing production lines with customizable specifications.

Advantages

1. Long operation cycle – boiling and evaporation occur in the separator rather than on the heating surface, minimizing fouling caused by scaling and sediment in the tubes.

2. Optimized heat transfer surface – tube flow rate is controlled by the circulation pump for efficient and uniform heating.

3. Suitable for scaling-prone liquids and high-viscosity liquids, functioning effectively as a high-concentration unit in multi-effect evaporation setups.

4. The forced circulation design makes it ideal for crystallization of salt solutions and other concentrated solutions.

Applications

The mvr-fc evaporator is widely used for:

•  Concentration of liquids in chemical and pharmaceutical industries

•  Food and beverage processing, including dairy, juices, and liquid concentrates

•  Solvent recovery and wastewater treatment

•  Crystallization of salt solutions and high-viscosity liquids

The mvr-fc evaporator combines advanced engineering, energy-saving operation, and reliable performance, making it an essential solution for modern industrial evaporation and crystallization processes.
